Fayecheezy Mag fosters a sense of discovery through food, health, culture & play. Perfection isn’t the point. Curiosity is.
It started as a teenage dream, scouring through the magazine section at a Border’s Bookstore in 1999. The September Vogue and a fresh stack of “Good Things” in Martha Stewart Living was my version of meditation. In sketchbooks I built an archive of clips from these pages, thoughts, cravings, scribbles, and teenage obsessions.
I dreamed of my own magazine.
Born from two of my favorites from my husband’s endless stream of nicknames, Fayecheezy stuck and now it’s the vibe.
This project is the grown-up evolution of a teenager’s bed full of magazines and all the notes that followed.
Online it’s a collection of my own archive of snippets. In print, it’s a reminder that the world is art, that there is always more to learn.
We just have to remain curious.
